I heard that yesterday and it really pissed me off. I don’t eat Peppermint Pattys no matter where they are made. On the one hand we eat a lot of vegetables and fruits that come from Mexico but to have something from Hershey’s made in Mexico just sounds wrong to me.

If all the Mexicans are up here who is going to make the Peppermint Pattys in Mexico? :?

WELCOME TO CORPORATE RUN AMERICA!!
Anything to save a $$$ for the CEO's Billion Dollar bonus!!
Maybe its time to start "Just Say No To Foreign Made Us Labled Goods."
Also there should be a permanent Non Removable label on all goods made out of the USA.
They should be put on the front of any product from "offshore" and in LARGER LETTERS THAN THE REST OF THE PRINT.
But isnt Hersheys owned by NesCafe that French company that killed my Tasters Choice Coffee?

That is just not right !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Adding your name to a product ought to mean something. It isn't all about the 'money'.

Next we'll have AA, AHS, Baker, EFM, Keystoker, Leisure Line, etc go to south of the border....don't think so!

We have a closed peanut processing facility in Georgia and another one in Texas.......That was corporate greed, not quality assurance. Anyone on the forum have a VW product assembled south of Texas? Like the GM electric motors and controls?

Don`t worry gaw more Mexicans are being made all the time, only problem is most are being made in the states. So to ease this temp. lag other S.A. countries are sneaking in their workers to steal the jobs the Mexicans are leaving.

Another outrage. I've eaten York Peppermint Patties my whole life. I like to freeze 'em. Time to boycott. The foreign labor insult is seemingly not the biggest insult. Every average citizen I talk to has better ideas than the evil greedy few who call the shots. I would pay more rather than pay for another foreign product. Hershey's will get a letter from me. It looks like we're all right in the middle of the Fall of Rome.

I wrote Just Born candies last year when they moved part of their manufacturing to Red China, they sent me a box of Peeps, I threw them in the trash. I didn't think Hershey had that much competition here but I guess Junior Mints is too much for them. Go Tootsie rolls.

It would be communism to expect them to stay here and support families. I think we should all work harder and possibly get 3 or 4 jobs at the local McDonalds or Walmart to fight communism.
I also am thinking of asking my employer to take away my healthcare so I can be more American. I plan on refusing that socalist Social Security if and when I ever retire.
I was even thinking of driving on the shoulder of the road so as not to share in that communist idea of governmnnt provided Highways until I got pulled over by the government provided police and was issued a ticket that helps support them.
Of course I totally support Huge corperate bonusus for the CEO class who help keep our nation free. Why not send all the labor to Mexico and China? The numbers on Wall street need that annual boost to help the falling stock prices. Oh yes then theres that tipping point where we will break this country. And enough people will be earning little to nothing that very few big ticket items like cars and trucks will be sold and the auto industry will go broke. I mean the unions are screwing the auto indusrty and breaking them right?.
Sorry I just had a commie flash back. :( I'm better now. So who was it that is ruining America again?
Someone is blowing smoke, depending on what party you hang out with it allows you to place complete blame for everything on the other one.
I SAY THERE BOTH RIGHT!

Mexico is alot hotter than PA. They are going to have to add alot more wax into that chocolate to keep it from melting before it gets shipped out. Yummy! Waxy chocolate! Maybe a hint of tobasco in there too? :fear:

Sorry to burst your bubble but most 'chocolate' products are made with 'coatings' not real 'chocolate'.

Coco Butter and Chocolate Liquor are required.
Read the label.
There is no such thing as 'white chocolate' because of the lack of chocolate liquor.

I remembe rRoss Perot talking about NAFTa. He said that you would hear a giant sucking sound, that would be all our jobs going to Mexico. Thanks to Bill Clinton signing NAFTA, we're here to see it. Another great Democrat idea.
