USA PATRIOT ACT

USA PATRIOT ACT

PostBy: gaw On: Sun Feb 22, 2009 12:43 pm

On another thread there were references to the Patriot Act and “Big Brother” spying on us. I thought I would post the original and the new improved versions for the enjoyment of any insomniacs out there. Much of it will not do you much good without the appropriate laws referenced in the bills, but if you ever wanted to know just what the Patriot Act is...
 :notsure:

Right!

So what is the chance that a law that can't be read and understood without the whole Code of Federal Law in front of you, was written, debated, and passed in a month?

Judge Napolitano said it took HIM between 30 and 40 hours to READ it.

Way to long for a 62 year old man to wade through! (I'll buy the Cliff Notes)

The length of this document defends it well against the risk of its being read.
