AHS and AA

- Other Heating: Oil HWBB
They do use a hopper, however you can also purchase an external auger system that is independent of the ashing motor and the fan motor. AHS just chose to separate the drive and driven components. They both work extremely well, and as you will note from the users, both have a very loyal following. Look into it further if you have an interest, as Freddie says, lots of very good equipment available. Choose your poison.

The tin cover on the AHS and the auger on the AA. The AHS has a separate motor to drive the asher, the AA drives the asher off the auger. Other than that you'd have a hard time telling them apart.billw wrote:what is the difference between the AHS 130 and the AA 130.

Every Axeman comes with an H stamp (ASME certified for 15# of steam), it is about $2500 dollars more to get an AHS with that stamp.billw wrote:what is the difference between the AHS 130 and the AA 130.
