New office chair

New office chair

PostBy: JB Sparks On: Sun Mar 01, 2009 8:50 am

Well, broke down and bought a new office chair. It has a higher back so when i doze off i won't be breaking my neck anymore. The only thing i don't like is that it doesn't tip back as far as my old chair. Does anyone have an idea to remedy this most serious problem? I mean how can i doze off if the chair keeps me on the level.

Most chairs have a locking handle that you have to pull out to unlock & a turning knob to tighten/loosen the mechanism.

Dev, yup, did all that but, all the way back just isn't all the way back enough.

Don't think that's adjustable. :(
(You could jack up your house a bit...to get more tilt!)

That's an idea, I was thinking about jack-hammering the concrete floor and repouring with a little list to the port side.

I have one of those chairs too.... High-back, but it only tilts back a couple inches. No more "backwards-leaning" snoozes, I gotta lay my head on my desk! Either that, or put a cot in my office (home office).

I have one of those chairs Gambler shows! It has a radiant element in the seat, arms and back. Even a back-flush valve, with a tempering valve of course. It requires only a Honeywell 4006, 6006, 9124, 4081, 859; 6 pressure transducers, volumetric equivalency modulation and a hode of Harmony Black Gold to fire the self cleaning circular grated device. The 66 ft high chimney has a a 16" diameter pipe that evacuates odors as well as CO from the tiny stoker's burn pot. It burns .006 lbs per hour and is only available online. This unit is backed up with an EFM DF520 burning Buck at 4 clicks feed and 5.5 air.
Shipping is done exclusively by UFO Express, out of Washington, DC.
Did I mention that a 30 amp 480 3 phase circuit is provided as a 'tickler' for those prone to snooze more than the Union Negotiated 31 minutes. Considering the position you recline in, that chair is provided with a 'dump valve circuit' for those older folks who cannot 'hold their own' so to speak.

Sounds like you've spent a lot of time looking into this great-can't-be-without-one invention. When you order yours get an extra one for me, should only cost you a couple extra bucks.

Rick,
That chair is hilarious!
The first thing that came to my mind was that we sure could have used a few of those when my boss used to beat on me to figure out a way we could "do more with less". We could have put all our phone contact people in those chairs.
That's funny.
