I have always loved the iditarod.
Man and beast against mother nature.
I have always thought it would be really cool to run in the iditarod.
I love cold weather and when I was a young boy I wanted to be an entry in this race, but I never followed through with this dream. So I have to settle for ice fishing.
I wish your neighbor well. I know it takes a lot of time and money to be able to compete in this race.
I will be watching as I do every year.

I had a good friend that worked on a stop on the Iditarod.... that's the best I can do :?

Lots of interesting storys. Burned coal in his one room shack on the remote "resort" he worked on!

We were up at the Iditarod museum in Wasilla, AK a few years back and saw some of the dogs. Pretty hard core that is for sure!!
