Agreed but it's my understanding the types of facilities they have *can* be used for peaceful purposes but clearly have a use for weapons. e.g They have purchased a few pallets of ammonium nitrate and many barrels of diesel fuel to farm a small garden.
Let's say they really want nuclear weapons. What on earth can they do with them, without being annihilated as soon as they use them?
I think the trouble with that assumption is the type of people that would control them. They are actively supporting terrorist organizations, you have an Iranian president that has said in the past that "Israel needs to be wiped off the map" but I think most importantly Iran is run by Muslim clerics some of whom have been deemed radical.
