Fittery & Habecker Fuel Service, I was told delivers but you may need to get more than two ton. 865-3386.

Where to Buy Bag Coal

PostBy: dan1166 On: Wed Sep 17, 2008 12:54 pm

I have a hand fired hot air burner in my basement for quite some time now. I originally used it to burn wood from my cleared lot. It is also capable of burning nut size coal. Does anyone know where to buy nut size coal in bag form? I do not want to buy 2 ton of coal, until I try the system out. I am fron the Hazleton, Pa. area. Your help will be appreciated.

Try Agway or Aubuchon Hardware.

Hello-

Looking for 1 ton, nut anthracite for home stove. Bag preferred but we can deal with bulk. We would consider buying more to be a part of a split.

I need two or three tons of nut, I'm just north of the NY/ON border in Canada.

Looking for pricing in Upstate NY just below Lake Ontario. I know of a truck that drops freight in the Plattsburgh area that may be able to help me out on his return to Ontario.

If I've done my research properly, I understand that bagged comes in 40lb bags 60 per skid for a weight of 2400lbs.

Anyone know what length, width and height these skids are?

Only 2 sources on LI that I know of. Last time I bought coal was from Bethlehem. I paid a visit to Rella as they sell stoves too; they seem like nice people.

Central NY Rice Coal Prices

PostBy: cnyfarmboy On: Mon Oct 06, 2008 7:22 am

I would like to say hello, I am new here. I am looking for prices within a 1hr or so drive of Sherburne NY. I know that Earley's is getting around $295 a ton right now 275 if you buy 3 or more tons. I am looking for bagged prices. I have thought about bulk and putting it into a tote I have, but I know bagged works, I hate to change to bulk and hate it when its 0f outside. But anyways, I am looking for picked up prices of rices coal bagged. I have always gotten it from Earley's in Madison, what do you guys think of his coal compared to other places? If my father inlaw and brother inlaw want in we might want around 6-7ton soon. So I may be willing to drive a little futher. I go through 3ton per year now on 1500sq feet keeping the house at 76-78f. Hope to hear some news.
