Call Mulholland Enterprises, LLC at 518-893-2165. I picked up loose nut coal from them for $252 a ton about a month ago.
They are located in Greenfield Center, NY 12833

Any Blaschak dealers in New Jersey?

PostBy: 009to090 On: Sat Jan 31, 2009 12:03 am

I am trying to find a Blaschak dealer in west New Jersey, or Easton, PA area. I used the Blaschak wesite to request a list of dealers, but haven't gotten a response. Maybe someone on this forum could help? The local dealer is out of rice for the season. Dead end. Not sure which breaker he gets it from anyway. Next closest dealer gets anthracite from Reading, but he's not sure how much he has left, as its covered with snow and ice right now. He tells me "Call back in a couple days". Yeah right.....
My new DVC-500 is finally hooked up and hungry.
Thanks

SOS Stoves in Port Murry/Hackettstown area sells pallets of bagged nut and rice Blaschak.

Don't recall the price per skid but it's $6.70/bag. I think it's 5 something at that volume. Pick up only. Picked up a few last week just to check it out. It's doing fine right now :).

I've got some of the Reading too but I beat the snow by a few hours. If you need it, ask him to knock off for the snow - it's only on the top of the piles! Weather should be warm enough for the piles to clear enough.

If you don't mind going to Stroudburg, there's Peoples Coal.

Easton, PA Aerni and Hitzel. Others have posted that they deliver Blaschak. I've never used them but I understand they need a day or two notice that you're coming to make sure someone is working in the yard and they prefer if you get there between 8 - 830am. Here's their info: http://www.ahfuel.com/ They are right off 78. Ask if they're stocking Blaschak to be certain.

Thanks VigIIPeaBurner,
I know where SOS Stoves is, and I'll stop by there tomorrow to get a few bags. I think I know where Aerni and Hitzel is also. Up behind the Fireworks retailers, if I recall. I just sent a messege to them for their current priice to deliver 3 tons. They do have the Blaschak emblem on their website. They are about 24 miles from us. The coal bin is empty and waiting! Now, if only the driveway would thaw out quicker. Its still as slick as an ice skating rink  , and the truck needs to drive down to the lower-level to fill the bin

Hi everyone. This is a great website. There is alot to learn. I am looking for a list of coal dealers who would sell me about three tons of coal. My son has an F-350 mason style dumptruck. This dumptruck can be hired for a reasonable fee when I drive up to the coal region. I would be happy with bituminous or anthricite. I am close to Bucks county, Pa. I am willing to travel for quality coal. Would anyone have any idea where I can obtain a list of coal suppliers in northeast Pa? Thank you, Jim

Hello neighbor in Pittstown!

There is also a hardware store in Ottsville, PA that sells bagged Blaschak. I don't know their going price this year however. Last year they were a buck cheaper than SOS.

We live in Greensburg, Pa - 60 miles south east of Pittsburgh. Can anyone tell us where we can buy anthracite? We were told somewhere in Somerset but it sure would be nice if it were a little closer.

I got info from Keystone coal (I think they are kimmells) with a reasonable trailer load price, I just can't afford the whole trailer.
They will ship any size and mix the load. I'll PM you with my info I'm in Oakham

Jim:
Clems in Spencer has Kimmells one of the best prices I've found but it did not burn well
Agway in Holden has Kimmells also but they just went way up on thier price

The Hardwick co-op also had it, don't know what kind, thought they were a little high when I asked this fall
I found out the hard way winter is not the best time to buy coal
