Room Ventilation

I have a EFM Stoker. I have a grid vent on the Bottom for the Door enterinf the Stoker room in my Basement. Just wondering if this is a good thing or not?? I do not want dust or to get sick if it is a issue. All advice is needed. Thanks

More important than the dust is: Do you have enough intake air for the stoker? If it's a sealed room, I forget the exact number, but I think it's 1 sq. inch for every 4000 BTUH.
