Hello All, How do I get picture's on craig-list, I keep trying but they will not download, they say file ( or the picture is to big)is to large to download, I tried putting only one pic. on and same thing happened. Where is a site that I can reduce picture size and store it? Any advice will be helpfull! Thank You Theo

You don't have some sort of photo editing software? Either came with your camera or printer?

If you're using XP or Vista--after loading the pics onto your computer, got to My Pictures. Click on a picture to open the file. At the top of the new window, there should be an "Edit Picture" button/tab. Click it, then click on "Compress Picture" option on right. Click the radio button for "Document"-sized files--that size works pretty well here.

After compressing, don't forget to "Save". This will take a multi-MB file down to 200-500 KB, that is well under the limit for posting most places.

Years ago I got this free software. At some point I paid $10 to upgrade so I can change formats.

I'll second the use of Irfanview, there's directions for using it here: How to Resize Images

You can do single images or whole batches of them.

What's the size limit?
