I am selling nothing from China.
But why you guys are hard toward China goods.
I am sure most of you can not avoid goods from China.
From my side, I like American goods.
My computer uses American chips. I take American airplane. Even electricity is from GE turbines.
and I must eat American wheat, bean as China import from American for decades.
and I watch Hollywood movies online,pirated.
China even imported wheat in 1990 just after June 4 affair when American govemrment shouted loudly to sanction China goverment.
I do not think American people have China currency in acocunt. But every "rich" Chinese people ( I guess 20% of total population) must have US dollar deposit.
MOST Chinese people are kind toward American people, American goverment, American goods.
and corrupted officials love American more as most have their falimy memebers in American, money deposit in American, and real estate in American.
Buy why so many Americans feel so bad toward Chinese people.
Chinese people must like American political system more than our own.
Political, socilism, curruption shall not be the reasons.
I have to conclude most American are shorteyed, less educated, a frog falling in a well takes a piece of light as whole sky.

Because most of the people here are looking for quality, certainly if you're looking for a cheap product an import will most likely provide the best value for the dollar but to put it bluntly the manufactures here don't make cheap junk. Just to add there is even a few manufactuer here that are going to fall into that "junk" category but if you buy for example a EFM you have made a lifetime investment.

They may not be able to compete with Chinese products on the low end but when the quality of the unit rises the playing field begins to even because the cheap labor and other factors become less.

That's besides the fact do i want to spend my money to benefit my neighbor or send it overseas?

That is a good question. I think most of it is ignorance and fear. This is what separates people more often than not and leads to things no one really wants. What we are doing here, communicating, is a great way to deal with this and correct the problem. Stay in touch and good luck, both our countries are going to need us to focus on what is good for us as our leaders can not always do that.

WE don't need to go down the insult path, please be aware that madeinchina is most likely using a translator for these posts and the exact meaning of what he is trying to say could be lost in translation.

Did anyone see on the national news the other night about the sheet rock (drywall) from China? It's not a good story. 300 )or 500?) million tons of dry wall imported from China in the last couple of years. A high percentage of it is going bad. For some reason it absorbs moisture right out of the air, bulges, and falls from the ceilings and sometimes the walls. While bloated it starts growing mold & smelly germs. They said about 65,000 homes are going to have to be bulldozed because of it. I guess it's cheaper to start over than to remove and replace it. One buy paid extra to make sure he got made in USA drywall. His went bad....they tested it...it was from China. Now they're chasing backwards to find out how that happened. The contractor has paperwork showing he bought USA stuff. It's a big mess!

Presently there are at least 80 foreign students at the local high school. Most are Asian and many are Chinese. There are another whole bunch at another school in Lee Maine. The wealthy parents of these kids want them "americanized" so they send them here to school and they pay about 30 to 35,000 thousand per yer per student! These 2 schools are semi-private so this is how they try to survive the consolidation(socialization) of schools going on in Maine at this time. They are now teaching Chinese as a second language at the Magnet School in Limestone Maine instead of French or Spanish. The Magnet School is the states attempt to give high learners a place to go to seperate them from the distractions of our normal schools. At any rate, China will continue to become a force in the world at all levels.

Unfortunately traders push China manufacturers hard and hard on price, and in turn China manufacturers lower and lower quality to keep a small margin.
There is no free lunch.
You will get what you paid for

That is from Madeinchina's first post and I think that says it all. Madeinchina is obviously proud of manufacturing in his country as we are of our's. The problem is the Walmarts and Habor Freights and other importers want to make the largest profit possible and a large portion of the American public want nothing but low prices. Quality and cheap just don't go hand in hand.

Quality is not expensive,.....it's Priceless!

nothing beats quality, ... like low prices!! chicken or egg??
