I've had this stove in my hunting camp for 8 years, its basically my main source of heat. Until I stumbled upon this site a month ago I only ever burned wood in the unit and had very good results, so I thought. As my wood pile has dwindled this year with the many below zero spells, and after much reading on this adicting site, I couldn't wait to try coal. All I can say is wow
.. My camp is 20' x 32', two stories, conventional framed and insulated, inside is drywall and rough hemlock. Front half has 16' ceiling with a loft, back half is two 8' ceilings and basic drywall. Had it up to 79* - 80* with windows open this past weekend, granted it was in the upper 50's out, but it worked great. Solves the question on where I'm getting more firewood. Here is a couple pics if your interested.
