In one of his great comedy routines,George Carlin once espoused his belief the "when you die ... your sole goes to a vacant garage in Cleveland."
The religious thread got me to thinking (always a dangerous situation! )... fear of death seems to me to be the basic motivation driving all religion. My view of death is very simple: It will be exactlty like it was (for me) b4 I was conceived.....Absolutely Nothing.....I'll have the exact experiences/thoughts/feelings etc that I had in.......say...1846...or 1623 ....or 6 million BC.......NOTHING.
What is your serious outlook on death? (figured we needed a light subject here  )
Don't forget.........You may be coming to see ME!!!!   (evil laughter...then he wraps himself in his red cape & puff.......he's gone)
My soles usually go into the garbage when they die. Thankfully, as I've gotten older, I've learned my soles last alot longer if I spend the money for good soles instead of crappy soles like they sell at Walmart. And good soles can be replaced at the shoe repair shop around the corner when they finally die. Maybe he sends them to Cleveland?
We all know he 'stashed' some stuff from the DEA days for personal use. Look at the size of his pupils.........or perhaps that is because he is enduring the perpetual religion debate on this forum.....why is he snacking on those damned peanut butter sandwiches all the time....! I wonder if 'devil' was in the Olds that Mary Joe and Teddie were driving and suffers from significant oxygen deprivation while under water for so long..... Yes your soul does go to Cleveland, Drew Carey said that to me personally :shots: :stretcher:   :drunk: :band: !
Not all of us have 'puff backs!' You absolutely must get a stoker before they lock you up for good. It will make you speechless......for the only time in your life, I'd bet! How big is that stash anyway? I heard 'tons' were unaccounted for?! Were you stationed near Ft Pierce?
