The Cause of Global Warming

Does this statement sum it up?:

Believers in global climate crisis possess no insight into its primary cause: the ageless desire on the part of some to dictate to others what they may, and may not, do. Climate concern is merely the latest means attempted to attain this power.

Wind Farm opponents staged a massive demonstration today, with scientific evidence that the new National Wind Farms will suck up all the Earth's wind and cause the planet to be stuck in permanent doldrums. With the new laws mandating the destruction of all energy draining clothes dryers just completed, Alleged Gorey, a spokesman for Stop The Everything Program Or Feel Fear (STEPOFF) stated, "If we don't stop these terrible, terrible wind farms, no one will be able to dry their clothes worldwide. People will have to walk around naked and they might catch a cold. We have a document here signed by every scientist on Earth proving our theory. There is total consensus. We urge everyone to apply for a permit to write their electronic representative before it's too late!"

...actually it's birds, destroying the scenery (to which I agree if they are placed like they are here), the transmission lines. Who'd of "thunk" it but birds like this thing they call wind too. Not sure of the overall effects as I've read conflicting articles but haven't really researched it.

There's a wind farm in place called Altamont Pass, Calif. This farm has been highly criticized by environmentalist on many fronts. First it was the birds and then they fought the transmission lines. They will never be happy until we all live in a cave.

I've been telling this forum for months what is causing Global Warming. Seems no one is listening to me. I'll state it one last time:

I am sorry everyone It was getting too hot last week so I gave a donation to Al Gore and it cooled down some. Global warming has run it's course, now they will cone up with a new way to scare everybody into control. How about save the baby mosquitos. Did you know that humans are responsible for killing billions of baby mosquitos every year. This is an outrage!!! Mosquitos are mother nature's creation. (don't worry all you libs I didn't say God) PETA, Greenpeace, ASPCA, and ALF are totally outraged. Barack Obama will give Greenpeace 5 million dollars from the next stimulus bill. After all they helped Obama get elected. Mosquitos have every right to live in peace as we do. It is an abomination that mankind uses poisons and drains wetlands to control their numbers. Have you ever seen a baby mosquito in an old tire or a bucket of water, they are just adorable and cute wiggling around in their home. This is not fair that the people put in Poisonous chemicals to purposely kill these babies. In two weeks everybody will march on Washington to demand an end to the slaughter. If we can save just one cuddly fuzzy adorable mosquito from these evil profit driven murdering chemical companies it will be worth the entire effort. Lister to NPR for more info. Peace.

Sure enough, some people like the idea. The comments section at that link includes the following gem, from which it's clear we will be told what we may, and may not, eat:

It is encouraging that the massive impact of the livestock industry is being considered by governments.It is responsible for more greenhouse gas emissions that the whole world's transport combined. We should cut meat consumption by changing eating habits and encouraging vegetarianism and veganism.

YES!

The last time I looked at a globe the earth was round. If the E.U. or the U.S. decides to put a tax on bovine flagelence it will cause the farmers to raise less cattle. (listen you can hear the tree huggers clapping) No, it won't stop. The farmers will just become unemployed and the cattle industry will simply move to South America. Out of sight out of mind. No more methane. HEY STUPID cows in South America fart just as much as cows here do. I guess the same can be said of Animal testing for science, The tree huggers were very successful at stopping that practice right? No, they just fired all the scientists. and shipped their jobs to China. Out of sight out of mind. Over here there was at least some Govt. control over the humane treatment of animals, not to say there were some abuses. Do you think China has ANY govt. inspecters to see if animals are being treated humanely?

But cows that fart in south america have a counter-clockwise spiral effect so it might just reverse everything. It might just be the solution. Keep cutting down the rain forests, that couldn`t possibly be causeing any problems. Then burn off the small stuff, a little smoke never hurts.
