I don't and I keep myself invisible in just about every forum I visit. No particular reason why other than I prefer it that way. If someone is invisible and wanting to hide, they wouldn't post, would they?

I always thought it was the moderators that were hidden, so they wouldn't get so many PM's. This thread clears that up (I think ). :shock:

I've never hidden myself here, but on another forum I did once for that exact reason. I wanted to read and do research, yet so many messages coming in I couldn't get a thing done.
