I don't and I keep myself invisible in just about every forum I visit. No particular reason why other than I prefer it that way. If someone is invisible and wanting to hide, they wouldn't post, would they?

I always thought it was the moderators that were hidden, so they wouldn't get so many PM's. This thread clears that up (I think ).

I've never hidden myself here, but on another forum I did once for that exact reason. I wanted to read and do research, yet so many messages coming in I couldn't get a thing done.
