Failure of all Failures??

Failure of all Failures??

PostBy: billlindley On: Tue Mar 17, 2009 8:54 am

Watching CNBC this morning and the outrage over htose AIG bonuses is still the hot topic. Rep Elijah Cummings indicated that AIG was "The Failure of all Failures." That got me thinking. What are some other Huge failures that you can think of? Not just business but including everything?

A couple I thought of:

The hindenburg

Soviet Union - :discuss:

AIG losing $61 billion last quater  , the most ever in the history of a company in America. Then wanting to give bonus checks out , instead of pink slips. :D

My ex girlfriend.

On a lighter note, my car insurance was with AIG, they changed their name to "21st Century Insurance".

When in the course of human events,,,,,,,,He has erected a multitude of new offices,,,,for cutting off our trade,,,,for imposing taxes on us without our consent,,,,,funny how these things that are in the Declaration of Independence are still troubling us today. :) Scott

The failure of all failures? A man that needs a second match to get his coal stove through the season. :)

Who needs matches? Just rub two pieces of nut together, vigorously together and in 10 minutes the blue dancing ladies arrive! Today they should be Green I guess......so restarting is acceptable using appropriate colors.
