Obviously he was joking Devil and never would have made the comment if he thought about it. Point is I've made my thoughts known to my old GF's 10 year old daughter when she made similar comments but then again she was 10.

It's funny when Bush made a flub it's all over the media but when BO does it you can hear the deafening silence and all his crony's saying he really didn't mean it that way. Talk about double standards.

There's never been any question that Sarah Palin can read a hell of a speech. I was in the Excel center at the RNC when she spoke. The women can talk. After all she is a trained tv newsreader, reading other peoples words is what she learned to do in college.

But what role does she play in writing what comes out of her mouth?

Obama writes many if his own speeches himself, or at least is part of the team that does.

What's the big deal? The big deal is this guy rarely makes mistakes, so when it happens you can hear a pin drop.
W on the other hand has whole books detailing his verbal gaffs. I do not see an issue here, even in our politically correct
world. The right wing should jump all over this, because the opportunity to cap on this guys verbal gaffs will be few and
far between.

As for the MSM ignoring the gaffe.
