Seventy-five years ago we were on the gold standard using REAL gold and silver for money. A loaf of bread cost .15 cents. that was 3/20's of a dollar. Today we use a feat currency that is only worth something because the govt. says so. Today an oz. of silver costs $18.65 and a loaf of bread costs $3.25. A brand new Model T cost $850.00 that is eighteen and one half ounces of gold. A brand new Hundai today costs about $18,500. Both are BASIC on frills cars.A one ounce gold coin has a face value of $50.00. Today an ounce of gold costs about $1,100. See the similaritys of the numbers. Buy gold and silver at today's prices and when inflation gets out of hand, tomorrow's loaf of bread will still cost you $3.25 not $32.25 or more. Inflation is already here, when was the last time you went grocery shopping? how about a restaurant. prices are going up now.
