"The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) is withholding hundreds of documents about a secret intellectual property enforcement treaty currently under negotiation between the U.S. and more than a dozen other countries."

unreal... another back-door entry to control the people from some cave protected mainframe..

maybe soon children could go back to playing stickball outside after school, passing notes in class, and building go carts from garbage thrown away instead of having blue teeth and sending porn pics at age 13......

what a spectrum of change society has taken in just 40-50 years..... :(

Here's is the primary problem with such legislation, much like other technology legislation that comes out of Washington it doesn't take into account reality.. I guess that could be said of most legislation. :P It can't address how it will advance. If people start getting searched, getting notices by their ISP's and whatever else encryption for communications and data transfers will become common place. Ironically in the end this will severely limit the governments power to snoop.
