If you are worried, you can download a special McAfee stinger for that worm here http://vil.nai.com/vil/averttools.aspx#002

I just dumped my McAfee for Avast last night ........ I hope it's up to the challenge.

Part of a few things I did to get this pile to run a bit faster. Was ready to upgrade after only 4.5 years with this pile, but now it's running like new, & my blood pressure is back to a normal level! ALL with help from THIS SECTION of the Coal Forum! :punk:

Shoulda done this YEARS ago!!

I'm going to do the same thing when the license for my multiple instances of TrendMicro Internet Security run out.

Yep, looks like another Hoooo-Haaa warning for nothing. I guess the only people who need to be warned are those who don't run any Virus software. Believe me, there are people out there who still don't use any form if Virusscan software!

It isn't much ado about nothing, the virus is incomplete and is awaiting instructions. Just because April 1st came and went without a disaster doesn't mean your safe. At minimum, malicious software can slow your machine, does anyone really need any grief when the fix is so easy?
