Here;'s a thread on them Heat reclaimer
I think the consensus is they are not worth it for coal appliances.

There's been a few discussions here about the "magic heat reclaimer", the one question is whether it's worth it. Stack temps on the stoker are going to be lower than that of wood so there isn't a whole lot to recover. You have to weigh that against the cost of the unit, the cost to run the fan and it's inevitable premature demise from the corrosion caused by the coal gases and ash.
....I'm hitting yet another problem that's based on the hopeless state of our databases. There
is no uniform data integrity, it's just a catalogue of issues that continues to grow as they're found

Plus you will have more ash build up on the tubes and could decrease your draft if you suck too much heat from the pipe. My stack temps only run 150-200+ normally. A wood stove is normally a lot higher draft temps.

Do a search on Heat Reclaimer, Magic Heat on here, been discussed numerous times.

It works well on wood burners and hand feds when installed before the baro. On a stoker stove the stack temps are lower, the heat reclaimed would be minimal.
