Whats the difference between the gunsaver model and regular model? They both come in same lengths/watts and have mounting brackets. I plan on getting two, one for the gun cabinet that I can mount and one for the stove I need to just set in on the bottom.

Hi kjb197, I think the differance is the removable plug-in end.
If you don't have to remove the end for your application, buy the cheaper goldenrod.
The one I have in my Browning gun safe seems to do the trick.

Thanks for the reply but that isn't it. They all have the removable plug. Any other guesses?

The 12" Black tube goldenrod uses 8 watts

The 12" Gold tube uses 12 watts
