Coffee's on! A bit extra rich this morning. I couldn't remember if I put in the right number of scoops so I just started recounting. Muffins will be ready by the time you sleepyheads get here.

What a difference a week makes! Almost all the snow is gone, except for in the woods and the 20 foot piles at Wall Mart. I'll bet even Bob in northern Maine is starting to see potato ruts poking through the snow. Probably the last weekend for the snow sledders.

A wood stove company went out of business...shady deals took them down...today their entire inventory is at absolute auction. A hundred or so wood & pellet stoves along with a huge pile of metal chimney. Keep me away! (Pssst... it's in Freedom Industrial Park in Bangor, 2nd place on the right, meet me at 10)

Morning Freddy!

You bringing the muffins to the auction? :)

Hey, ya know it's still only April! The forcast for NWNJ calls for lows in the 20's in a few days. Big blow going now, weathers going to change for sure.

Hey Freddy,

Cold as a well digger's ass here this morning. Back down into the 30's. I'm off to pick up floor tile. Putting new tile in the bathroom. This getting ready for my daughter's wedding is going to get expensive and time consuming.

Tell m about it Bill.......I've got THREE of them daughters! ;) (2 already married)

(Here's a bit of free advise for your daughter though: Have her get married in the morning. (that way if it doesn't work out by noontime at least she won't have shot the whole day!)

:D :D
I offered her 5,000 to elope and let me know how it turned out. Neither her or her mother found anything funny in it.

Hell give ME $5,000 & I'll elope! (I don't even care what my "Wife" looks like...as long as she can cook!)
(oops....Just kidding dear  :fear: )

Morning all,

I have to haul seed potatos today if the afternoon is dry. Probably two trips unless DOT is still in bed. I am going to cover the store name on the door just in case they are not then tell them I am just a farmer what do I know about axle weight.

Must be nice to be retired. Two and a half more hours and I can leave work and go home to start REALLY working. :)

I'm off to the Jersey Shore to paint a bedroom with a lovely 2nd floor view of Barnegat Bay. Will stop at Home Teapot first where they're having a "Find a product not made in China and get half-off the second item" contest.

Not yet brother! Although I am starting to see a little grass. But, that's were the snow was plowed. ;) This is the first time all winter that there is no snow on my roof. It rained all night and it's still pouring. Was 40* here at 6 am. COME ON SPRING!!!

Woke up at the crack of Ten. Missed coffee, oh well. I'm heading to lowes to buy some pretty flowers to make our curb appeal look better for our open house on Sunday. Hopefully these little flowers know how to sell a house so I can get back to PA.

Freddy,

If you buy anything at the auction let us know and take some pictures

well im off to go eat breakfast

Gee Freddy, a little late with breakfast this morning aren't you? I had made cinnamon buns, finished my soda bath on the stove, collect all the trash and took it to the landfill all by the time you had the coffee ready. :D Now I'm going to take a nap before my day really gets started. Monday I'm heading to Tremont, PA for some large lumps of coal for my landscaping. I checked the weather for NorthEast PA and its 90% chance of precipitation - snow. If that actual happens it should be great road trip.
Take care and have great weekend, Lisa

I bought nothing at the auction. Too many people willing to pay five cents less than retail. It was like minnows eating bread crumbs. Ohhh well. Nothing for nothing is better than too much for something!

Sorry breakfast was late... I slept in this morning! *smile*

Bob, give this rain another week and you'll start seeing potato rows. Can't be long now!
