The "Quote" button on other peoples posts.

I see a lot of people aren't utilizing it, perhaps because they don't even know what it does so I'll point it out. When you hit the quote button on someone elses post it will take you right to the post reply pane except it will have the entire post quoted.

The above is what you would get if you hit the quote button on my first post. You can add your text above or below whatever you are quoting.

Or if it's a very long post you can edit it to adress a specific sentence.

Or edit it even further to adress two sentences or parts of a post.


When you hit the quote button on someone elses post it will take you right to the post reply pane except it will have the entire post quoted.


Highlight the ending quote tag, right click and select cut. Put the cursor where you want the first quote to end and select paste. To quote the next part highlight the text and hit the quote button where you find all the bbcode.
