Damn! I Hope it stays north! My wife just did her Spring flower planting. I still have the stove running/idling, But I was hoping to shut it down soon. I guess I'll keep it running for a couple more weeks. Warm weather is NOT in the forecast.

You can keep all of it! Thanks in advance for your generosity! :D :D

We got about 2.5" of cold rain here today, even canceled 'Opening Day' for the Red Soxs!
Our snow is going very quickly now, ski areas are all still open, but rainy days will end that also. Hopefully you still have some coal, because it isn't over yet!

We got about 1" or less here in Olean, NY along I-86 (NY/PA Border). But it's still snowing pretty good, winter storm warning for all of Western NY until WED 8am, from 3-10" of snow expected..... :(

I am out of coal too, need to go buy a few bags to make it to the weekend!! Arghhhhh.....

Keep the damned snow to yourself! :P
We want the wind for the electrical power, but we are all set with the white stuff.
Just when you thought you could replace the snow blower with the rototiller...Mother Nature gives us a reality check!
Not much of a problem with dust however, still raining hard here....helps wash the sand off the roadways so the 'riding season' will be safer.

Near Pittsburgh here, close to an inch on the grass. News said it was quite a rough commute into the city today, glad I go the other way!

Stop talking about green grass!!!!!  Mine won't be green until the middle or end of next month!! I don't see any patches of grass on my lawn yet, even though it hasn't snowed here since April 30. Got 12" that day.

No, no tomatoes yet - they won't even go in until after APR 17th. That's the last chance for a hard frost here according to the Farmers Almanac. We are getting ready though - buying plants, turning the soil and what not. I was up in PA today and run through some snow showers outside of Gettysburg - nothing was sticking. It was a great day for a road trip. :D

For those of you following my adventures in decorating with coal my landscaping attempts using coal has been postponed for a couple of weeks. Summit Breaker did not have any 40 to 50 lbs of lump coal on site today. Bummer! I did actually call before it left home but I had other business in the area, too. I’m moving ahead with the garden and will add the coal later. Lisa

SE Michigan got 5-7" on Sunday night/Monday morning,, and the flurries and snow showers stayed around untill Tuesday night.. Heavy wet snow, the bottom 2" was slush,, If it had been 3-4* colder, we'd have got over 12" of the lovely white stuff..

The AA doesn't mind, just keeps making heat.. house is toasty and the shower water is as hot as I can stand.

Furries all day today, but it was warm. 40 to 50F and sunny. Strange weather. Stove still running 24x7.
