I believe that a lot of weapons are being moved from the U.S. to Mexico for the simple reason of greed. It isn`t the little guy thats doing it, go after the makers & their suppliers. Some where along the line a lot of weapons are being sold for even more money, enough money & you can buy just about anything, this morning on the news they showed a woman that was arrested in Mexico with a 50cal. anti-aircraft gun. I checked mines still in the garage & my wallets still empty, that only leaves a few million more people that might just have gotten tired of cleaning theirs & decided to get rid of it. As long as big money is being made the gun traffic won`t stop. Just like a mill I worked in a three cylinder ford tractor with a diesel drive welder & burning outfit attached was missing so they had the plant guards check lunch boxes before you could walk out of the plant. If you don`t want to stop the flow of guns & money you just throw up a bunch of smoke & mirrors & say we`re trying.

The gun in the picture I saw was not a .50, it was a .30 Browning and on that mount would not be a very effective to shoot at an airplane as it could not elevate enough to shoot at one that was flying. It would be OK if the plane were parked on the tarmac though.

Could be, I was refilling my coffee at the time & didn`t get a good look, just going by what was said. Guess there was no need to run out & check mine darn near spilled my coffee. I still say the first place to look would be in the military ware-houses many of which aren`t on bases or even well guarded & even then by rent-a-cops.

Let's grant that you are -- that there's a monolithic coordinated desire and plan, within the legislative and executive branches of the federal government and its corporate owners, to disarm all citizens. What is the PURPOSE behind the desire? Is this simply disarmament for its own sake? Or, more likely, is disarmament just phase one of a larger plan? What is the follow-on plan? What is the set of objectives the planners have in mind, which they can't do while we have guns, but will begin to implement once the disarmament is accomplished? This was not an attempt to bait you or to imply you are wrong. I conceded you could be right, and I'm honestly asking, what is the follow-on plan to disarmament? Is there a coordinated plan of which disarmament is step 1?
