As this seems to be gaining ground seems like it would be newsworthy?

Other than Fox News google news search shows only Forbes.com with any coverage.

This Tea Party BS is simply more sour grapes pushed hard by Fox News & Talk radio. Everyone KNOWS that is was the prior administration that started this bailout ball rolling in the first place & they threw billions at private enterprise with absolutely no strings attached.
Now, Fox News is hoping that we will forget who started us down this road & try to pin it on the Democrats as "Socialism."

Bottom line is that no one in this country is the slightest bit interested in the far right's hypocritical "Tea Party" & it just more proof of how far out of touch they are with the American voter....Oh...Don;'t get me wrong....this story will get plenty of play on Fox News but all it amounts to is more preaching to their choir! (until they start appealing to MODERATES, these sham tactics will remain a joke)

Devil please stay out of the republican tea party section.

We arent out of touch with the tea partys. It's your liberal media who is out of touch with america. It gets no coverage whatsoever. They are trying to protect obama and dont want any bad press for him.

It's not about Democrat vs Republican. No question that GWB and a Republican-dominated Congress deserve a significant helping of the blame. It's more about the mockery and unabashed arrogance of those who work for Government thinking that they are no longer serving at the mercy of the People; that they can simply write themselves a check for whatever they wish. It's more about this:

Sorry....Your appeal is denied.

As much as you'd like to keep this thread (& probably this forum) an exclusive far right BS session, it's still a free country to exercise my 1st amendment rights in, Correct?

75% of the threads here anymore are political bullshit. If I was just starting to think of switching to coal I'm not sure I'd register here.

Devil, this is bi partisan movement, it appears mostly supported by those at the center... you know the sane people. Ironically they apparently support most of the things you have been saying such as term limits. What is the positions you disagree with they advocate?

I'm sorry to hear you say that Bill. I think we all know that COAL is the reason why we are all here & the absolute priority of this forum. That being said, the heating season is winding down & there are many members here for active minds who like to discuss other topics, as well as coal.
I think Richard won't object to my saying that I think even HE has many interests & likes to join in on Off Topic threads as well.

What I disagree with is the sudden concern with fiscal responsibility & concern over leaving our debts to the next generation .....which has ONLY become a concern to Fox News & The Republican Party since 12:01pm on January 21st 2009 when a Democratic President took office. Where were all these marches & tea parties when the true costs of the wars in Iraq & Afghanistan were hidden...year after year...in supplemental Emergency Apprpriations?
It's hypocrisy..plain & simple, imo.

Devil, You are wrong about the sudden concern over fiscal responsibility. The republican party is in disarray now because of the lack of fiscal restraint. As soon as the republicans held all the levers of power, they spent as least as much as every democratic adminstration had previoulsy. Not as much as the current one mind you but it was out of control. All pretence of conservative values including smaller federal govt. and spending went right out the window. And as a result, they lost conservative support. McCain was certainly not a conservative. Many like my self voted in protest for a third party. If the republicans can't get back on a true conservative path by 2012, I'd say we're looking at an 8 year run for BO. Sadly, I'm not optomistic.
