just purchased a new liberty just looking for general info on stove.what to light with,how high to run feed setting,mine is a direct vent modle how often to clean,best coal to use,how to set the draft up and any other stuff if anyone can help me out,first coal stove just tired of paying for propane and still being cold.i put the stove in my living room in corner of room I have not hooked up yet just looking for info thanks

If you do a search, many ,if not all, of your questions have been answered.

The Direct vents and stoves need to be cleaned at least once a month or so, depending on usage and ash buildup. YOu just need to check it and adjust accordingly.

The feed rate is dependent on how warm you want the house. Everyone house is different, so we can't tell you exactly what would work for your situation.

Welcome. You're high propane bills are about to become a thing of the past.

WNY is correct, do some searching around the forum, there's lots of info here.

One important point: The biggest factor that effects the operation of your stove of the quality of the coal.
