I'm considering adding a preview for topics?

I'm considering adding a preview for topics either as A) mouseover (e.g when you put your curser over the link a preview of what the poster pops up) or B) right on the page below the link similar to how the main index looks but with less text. It would only be 100-120 characters. I like it but wonder what others think.

The mousover I can make it so you can turn it on or off yourself. It would be a selection where you edit your profile so that's probably going to be added no matter what but I'd rather it was right on the page. So what's everyone think?

This has been added as I'm sure you have seen, to get a preview of the first post in topic just hover your mouse over the magnifying glass. Javascript has to be enabled for this to work.

Yes, and thanks. Most have the preview pop-up when you mouseover the link but I think the image is a better idea. That way it won't be too annoying for people that don't like it. Adding a user selection for turning it on or off would have been more work and as I mentioned before I'll be switching to phpbb3 once they have the final release and all the bugs have been worked out. No sense doing a lot of work for nothing.
