I was in the service at the same time as G. W. & I some how don`t think that I could have been absent without being court marshalled but then again my daddy wasn`t a governor.

For all you know the President was following the advice of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. Neither you nor I, nor your seal friends know the details of how this decision was made. All we know is the end result, which was pretty darned good.
