Can It Happen Here?

Yours wasn't the only post to which I was responding.

However, the mechanical analogy is perfect. So deal with it.

I'll take that as an "I don't know." Feel free to answer for Devil. I asked him a number of times if he could tell me the difference between Keynesian and Austrian economics. How can an economic system that is by nature, inflationary, be a sound basis for a civilization? Or you can just say "I'm not interested in being informed" and we can end this now.

What are you, Jeff, the next mikeandgerry?

Are you an expert in economic theory? Why should we take your word for all this? This is the same technique used car salesmen use: they always know something you don't know that settles the argument in their favor.

Tell you what: if you have an objective case that some theory currently being implemented is doomed to fail, don't waste your time explaining or debating it here, send it to your Congressman, Senator and the Council of Economic Advisors.

That is, unless it's more BS that would be dismissed out of hand by people who really do understand the subject matter.

You could have said "I'd rather not educate myself." It would have been a lot less typing. Why do I have to be "an expert"? Experts built the Titanic, an amature built the Ark. You really think a lot of yourself don't you?

Jeff, I've spent a lot of time in my career finding experts and challenging their credentials to state their opinions.

So, yes, I do know how to find out whether somebody's opinion is worth listening to. It's my craft.

So do you have any qualifications to discuss economic theory, or are you just BS'ing us?

I'm just a guy who's done some research and educated myself. What I'm asking you is, do you think an economic system that is purely inflationary is a good basis for a civilization? We do I need to be an expert in economics to hear you opinion on economics?

Jeff, how silly of you to challange the all mighty OZ. Don't you know he's the expert on EVERYTHING! After all, he spent 7 years in school after high school. He's always right which is Sfull rule #1. Sfull rule #2 is If he's wrong, see rule #1.

Jeff, coalsmirk's got a point here. Don't bother trying to convince me.

Why don't you just send all this fiscal wisdom off to Wash DC?

And keep us posted on how that works out for ya.

I don't need to send it to D.C. I have Ron Paul down there for that. I need the functional idiot voting public to understand the difference. That's where you come in. ;) :D

Funny, I was just dropping in to remind you that we had an election, RuPaul ran, and he lost. GIGANTICALLY.

Ah, the irony of explaining to the really far right that their arrogant intellectualism is insufferable.

Insufferable is leftist idiots like you who have to denegrate a man like Ron Paul by calling him the name of a black tranvestite. I'm sure he/she is one of your favs. It's real cute, just like supposedly professional journalists calling the Tea party attendees Tea baggers. Another reference to the twisted lefts idea of normal or funny. You are pathetic. GO AWAY!

"Arrogant intellectualism"? Is that what the left is calling research, education, and knowledge these days? Ron Paul is a medical doctor, an Air Force veteran and multi term Congressman. He's also a lifetime student of economics. I think he's a little more informed than a leach on the scrotal sack of society who's best argument is a schoolyard epithet. I half expect you to tell me my mother wears combat boots. Devil's not around anymore. You really need to pick up the slack. When you can make a logical argument as to how more defecit spending is the cure for defecit spending, then we'll listen to you. Until then, I'll stick with the guy fighting for solid currency, limited government, and more personal liberty.

You guys are hilarious.

That video? That slick production against lobbying? You know, the one with all the charts and graphs to simplify and graphically demonstrate the point they're trying to convince you of?

That's lobbying, you idiots!!!

BTW, here's what wiki has to say about the "Center for Freedom and Prosperity":
The Center for Freedom and Prosperity (or CF&P) is a non-profit organisation created to lobby legislators in favour of market liberalisation, particularly with reference to tax competition. The priority objective of the CF&P is the Coalition for Tax Competition (or CTC), an organisation which promotes jurisdictional tax competition, sovereignty, and financial privacy.
