Thats not supposed to happen to those Boxers. Sure you fed it enuf oil???? :D :D :D
We have two Subaru Outbacks , '97 and '03. Both still drive as if new. Amazing cars. The timing belt has to be replaced around 100,000 miles, or else it might swallow a valve or two if the old belt breaks.

Bad day today: The friggen red fox got another chicken. He is now fighting the grey fox to see who gets dibbs on the next chicken    Wheres that thread about home defense? :rambo2:
My vermit rifle is useless. Those critters are smart! My wife talked me into getting a "Live" trap. Just ordered one.

And YES they do a hell of a lot of damage. Total cost of this job was over $ 13 K But the glass had also cut most of the leather interior adding to the total cost. Just had a 98 GMC Envoy towed out of here this AM. Totalled due to a front end deer collision last Sunday. They don't just happen in the fall anymore. I do love the results in my line of work.Besides if you are lucky enough to get one that was only hit in the head, it is finnnneeeeee eating. Roadkill Stew !!

I rebuilt the engine at 300K miles, when I disassembeled it I found small cracks between the intake and exhaust valves so I buught remanufactured heads from an outfit in Texas. The local Sube dealer told me that they probably used aftermarket valves instead of OEM and they just don't stand up

Well, my wife wanted the 'live' trap, so when we catch the first fox, I'm going to show it to her and ask "Heres your fox Hon, what are you going to do with it?"

I was going to ask what the green stuff was, but the last pic answered that question. I gut shot my 2nd deer, that pic brought back the smell.

We have about 15 acres and this property is tucked into a 150+ acre land trust with no houses. lots of wildlife! In the past five years we have lost three cats to red fox, coyote, or fisher.
Now we just have two yellow Labs and all the varmints are fair game. last spring every late afternoon two red fox would walk in the yard and lay down next to our garden about 75 long steps from the house. The Labs would go NUTS wile the red fox just stayed and flipped the finger to the dogs. :P After setting up my varmint rifle , a single shot Cooper in .20 VarTarg, in a second floor window, the game was over.
I shot the first fox and then the second one came back after 15-20 seconds. I had to jump up and get another round and he got lead poisoning also. :oops2:

PS I am not a deer hunter...but we have lots of them in the area.

Ok, the trap is in place, and bated with some old leftover cooked turkey. Our dog tried to squeeze into the trap to get at the trurkey, so it must smell pretty tempting! Tomorrow morning, we will have a caged Red or Grey Fox. We'll see which is hungriest. :D
Anyone want it? Bring over your own container or rifle, I don't care which.

Now THATS a smart fox! He's just gotta learn how to chamber a round and slam the bolt home. What? Oh hes "Just posing for the camera"? Ok, that makes sense. I was wondering where he kept his extra rounds
