Note you can sort the memberlist by clicking the text in the headings (username, posts, joined.....etc.)

What's interesting is Chris Murley is the 10th member if you sort by join date. I occasionally purge inactive members with 0 posts so he was probably a little higher up the list.

Lsfarm (Greg) and WNY (Dave) are on second page as are Cap and Smitty.

And about 350 of them will be purged from the list by this time next year. ;) I'd easily have over 10,000 members but I always purge old accounts that were never used after a while. The current list up to those that joined before 1/1/09 have either at least one post or visited within the last 6 months. So the current list up to that date is active members.

Weird but I have a lot of members with 0 posts and have logged in. Some of them quite old, there's one from Nov of 06 with 0 posts and was just here the other day. I'll assume most of them join to use the topic reply notifications.

Before i joined the forum i browsed as a guest for about 2-3 months. I dont think posted right away either. This is the first forum i have ever posted on. I didnt plan on joining the forum. But quickly got sucked in and wanted to ask A LOT of questions ... then the off-topic stuff really got me ..

Same here, reading, and reading, and reading the threads for 4 months before 'joining'. I only joined to ask my first question.

If you sort them by last active (you have to click it twice) almost a full 7 pages today, 30 members per page so today 210 people. The first of the month shows up around page 21 or 600 members visited in 3 weeks. You need to go to page 54 for the first of the year or almost 1700 members were active since the first of the year which is more than half the total members.

My wife joined after realizing she had to have an account to see the non-public content. We have separate computers and I have been sending her links of posts I think she would be interested in. She hasn't posted yet and I doubt she ever will. She gets a laugh out of the jokes and many of the political threads. She picked a screen name after some of the comments made by member JerseyCoal. Can you guess her screen name?
