Unless something has changed recently it was only a few weeks ago it was announced it would be converted to gas.

Yes it was, but a week later I read in the NYT that they found out what it would cost to change over plus the significantly increased operating costs and it didn't look all that palatable to Congress. Maybe that is why they backed down on the carbon tax nonsense?
In the meantime, at the other 635 coal-fired plants, over 40 percent of our nation's carbon dioxide emissions continue to erupt from electricity plant silos like as silent volcanoes of death.
