It is a serious promise.
I'm still waiting for my free stove. I cant wait! Any day now... you'll see! :)
Maybe you have to ask for it?
Maybe its free only after he files for patent?
It would be interesting to hear about its operation, after someone in NEPA gets their hands on one of these....

his response to a question on ebay

"We have sold many Steam Cleaners to American,
Mexico, Nicarragua, Australia, Cyprus, Oman.
It is a well proven good tool for cleaning job and
its price is 1/3 of competitors. It is a powerful
tool to clean greasy in milk powder plant,
restaurant, machineshop. It must be able to clean
coal dust effectively.

The stove is indeed a patent. We are looking for
American manufacturers to co-develop it to a
commercial type stove suitable for American
market.
Pardon my poor English.
You seem to be in the area of coal. You should
know its potential value. Even my prototype is
MUCH MUCH MUCH better than handfired stove.
You can fill the stove once a day. It burns coal
very cleanly by observing the flue. Its basic
function is same as a modern stoker, but more
simple and cheaper and more reliable. It is also
very easy to upgrade to computer controlled modern
smart stove. When electrical supply is down, it
can still work."

confusing... ;)

The only thing more reliable than an Axeman is a bucket of rocks. :)

He hasn't been here since September. Looks like he was looking for someone to send money and didn't find that here so he moved on.
Even my prototype is
MUCH MUCH MUCH better than handfired stove.
You can fill the stove once a day.
In another post he indicated you have to shake the fire every 4 hours.

maybe the pondarosa needs one for sure. they have a lot of gravity out there!

I think the shipping kinda negates the cost effectivness tho

Shipping of $350 only brings it to port...
Then deal with Customs...
Then you have to ship it to home...
Another $125 easy...
Then shake every 4 hours...
I keep the DS Machine, thank you very much...

Maybe I'm missing something, but Franco Belge is a gravity fed coal stove. My mother used one for twenty years with good results. I never liked the Franco Belge grate system but the gravity fed coal feed always worked perfectly.
Does anyone make a stove that has the same gravity fed bin but with the axial grates (like what the Harman Mark II uses)?

So why is it a special thing that someone came up with a gravity fed coal stove? I'm guessing it a 'reinvention of the wheel', but the inventor doesn't realize this.
The thing that will kill this is the four hour burn time. Unless he automates the grates, this won't go anywhere. Of course automating the grates is the same as automating the feed of the fuel. It's the same, but opposite.....
