I lost a $1 bet this last year because I thought gas would never go below $2.35 a gallon. Even though I have a bad prediction track record I'll guess gas will be $2.36 all summer, and oil will be $2.80 next winter. Electricity will stay around $.20 a KWH.

I predict only a slightly moderate oil price increase.I think it is all tied to the economy and will remain relatively flat.I passed an oil delivery truck the other day and it had a sign reading $1.87 / gal on it.If it gets much lower,I'll mothball the Kaa2 and go back to the oil boiler.I think we will cruise along o.k. for a while yet on fuels.I think electric rates here in Penna will soon clobber us big time due to deregulation,no way around that. When you have coal it's like the old "Turtle and Hare" story. You may have times where it might not make sense but in the long run you always win. Fuel prices are wildly unpredictable except with coal, slow and steady as she goes.
