Making a banker crap his pants. Funny?

PostBy: wnyjim On: Tue Apr 28, 2009 11:56 am

Sorry if im unsensitive but one positive side effect of the NYC flyover the other day must have been all those bankers crapping themselves thinking they were next. Maybe bad or dark humor on my part but hmmmm guilty concience on their part?

If you were under a rock or dont know the story heres a link.

This is not funny. Thousands of NYC citizen thought 9/11 was happening again. I would of *censored* my pants if i was there and saw a plane flying so low.

What is funny is how stupid obama is for letting his plane fly so low.

I know they say he had nothing to do with it, but we all know that isnt true. He needs to learn to take the good with the bad. Dont always blame other people for your mistakes. This guy (obama) is a giant douche bag

I thought it was funny. Local and state officials were notified through the FAA. If they didn't open their mouths then tough *censored*. To bad a couple of those bankers didn't commit haricari (sp). Oh I forgot, Obama set the flight plan, told them to buzz NYC just for a laugh. Obama had as much to do with this as Bush had to do with all of the mickey mouse bullshit he got blamed for. You partisan *censored* on both sides need to get a life already. Worry about your own lives and stop trying to pretend your political opinions actually mean anything to anyone but yourselves. You actually are quite boring.

Ahem! Come, now. "We" do NOT all know that. You don't like the guy, but be realistic! Numb as I am, even I would not OK that kind of an overflight. 9/11 or no 9/11, it is just plain stupid to fly a plane that low over NYC without a damn good reason. I am sure, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that photo-op decisions for Air Force planes are not all cleared personally with the president.

P.S. Actor John Travolta buzzed his estate here in Maine, a few years back, with his personal 727. He was "chastised" but not nearly to the extent that he should have been. If that happened today, would you blame it on Obama also?

Yeah, it was funny like a guy getting kicked in the crotch. Even my 14 year old son saw that right away. Why don' t you'll grow up and develop a little empathy for your follow citizens. Whether or not this was purposely planned or just in poor taste it was an unnecessary reminder of the nightmare of 9/11.

Those of us who were directly impacted by 9/11 don't need this kind of crap to keep the nightmare alive. I still can't see a plane in the air or in Reagan National landing path without it reviving my thoughts of 9/11. Tell me - all you that think this was funny, did you know where your husband was for the first 5 hours after the plane hit the Pentagon? Did you have to wait for hours as he walked the 25 miles home that night? Did you field the calls from friends and relatives from around the country concerned for his well being? What did you tell your then 8 year old son was going on? How did you reassure your 11 and 13 year old daughters that everything was going to be ok? I live with the memories everyday and I know the the people of NYC do too. We don't need reminders; we have the scars.

Yeah, the flyby over NYC yesterday was real funny!!! (Heavy Sarcasm)Lisa

Well Lisa I knew where my wife was but for a day I didn't know if my brother in law was alive or dead. He was in the pentagon that day. Maybe brother in law doesn't mean much to many people but he's the closest thing I've ever had to a brother. I've known him since we were six. It was just gravy that he married my sister. And I still think it was funny. If you're going to cower every time a plane flies low to the ground, guess what, the terrorists won.

If the Devil were here he'd blame it all on Bush, I'm sure. I don't think it was a really smart idea but that's my opinion. I have my reasons as some of you probably know. 9/11 was a very tragic day for many people.

Considering what can be done today with photo manipulation I thought it the actual flyover was nothing more than a stunt the reason for which I can't even imagine. I am sure that a lot of people on this forum could easly have put airforce one or for that matter Obama himself flapping his arms flying around the Empire State building

Well I will continue to enjoy the bankers crapping themselves. Yeah I know blah blah blah it just wasnt right and all but. It will be just a little easier paying off all those bankers and there bonusus if we can just poke em with a stick now and then.

For those of you born without a sense of humor or too busy wearing your flag cape. I dont know what to say. Take a breath and know each day is a gift. The day When I will eventually buy it god only knows. TIll then im gonna do my best to live each day and see the humor in it with a smile on my face. Its also the best advise I can give any of you reading this far. Have a good life its always too short.

If the world is going nuts. Dont let them take you with them.
