BHO's 100-days

Now that's some good stuff, J.C.! (But it seems to stop with Dubya.)

Anyhow, you gotta pay attention: W&C sez we can't talk about the past here. :nono:

:nice: God, these rants are pitiful. You guys say you want the Prez to "man up" -- yet you whine like a bunch of girls.

Why don't you just face it: Your party gained power then promptly lost its way and now has no policy, no message, no spokesman, no leaders and is about as beaten as any party has ever been and stayed in existence. But instead of looking at your own house, you keep trying to find fault in a capable, popular leader who's damned-near made chicken salad out of the chicken droppings your boyz left him barely 3 months ago.

Didja know that 21% of Americans now self-identify as Republicans? And that's fewer than believe in ESP?

I still haven't figured out what drugs you are taking. Honestly. What has he done? I hear a lot of words but what changed? Nothing. What are you crowing about?

And don't try that "your party" BS on me. I voted Constitution Party. :D I'm used to being being in the minority. :D

No tax cuts. Tax cuts without spending cuts is deficit spending.

No change in the ME.

What? What are you crowing about? I still don't see it.

Don't know about you, Jeff, but I'm seeing a lot of construction projects underway wherever we go. Just one example of something that wouldn't have happened under your "au natural" no-stimulus recovery model.

Just one road paving project around here. One of the dads on my sons T-ball team is a civil engineer for the state. I was talking to him earlier tonight. He says they have tons of projects, just no money to do them. One of the big ones is a bridge that has the same design as the one that collapsed in Minnesota and has basketball sized rust holes in the supports.

They put an 18 ton weight limit on it, then put 20 tons of concrete barriers to divert traffic away from the edges where the rust is the worst.

I'm sure nothing bad will happen.......

These projects were planned and scheduled long before BHO was sworn in. Do you actually think that these projects suddenly materialized just because BHO signed a bill?

So i guess it was okay that the media and democrats slammed bush every day for eight years and told us how horrible of a person he was and slammed his policies as well.

But when we want to question obama were not allowed? Seems like hypocrisy to me

We quickly forget bush had the economy booming for 6 1/2 years of his 8 in office.

obama cant say the same as the gdp dropped 6% this first quarter.

Keep this in mind, the liberal media belittled bush everyday and criticized his policies. so i will not stop voiceing my opposition about obama and his big government till he is out of office. If your side can do it to us then we can do it to you. Unless you favor censorship, like obama does.

There is constant construction all the time where i live on the beltway. it has nothing to do with the stimulus bill. If we lucky we might get some temporary jobs out of the stimulus but nothing permanent.

All the stimulus will do is cause a small up tick in jobs eventually then it will plummet again.

I would like to see how you will defend obama in 2 years from now once all his tax hikes and cap and trade bs, socialized health care take place. We will be hit with huge tax increases to pay for all of that. Hopefully then youll see the light and understand what we are talking about

My guess is that Obama still hasn`t found that switch that most of younz think is on the wall some where & all you have to do is flip it & everything bad stops dead & happy times are here again.

I think what he is doing has a good chance of working if given some time as it already is in some areas. There is always flexability & changes that can be made, its not a short term thing. You can find as many that agree as disagree I don`t really have any expertise soI just listen & try to learn & give it a chance.

6.1% GDP decrease in the first quarter is still slightly better than the 6.3% decrease in the previous quarter under your boy Georgie.

What was your point again?

The operative word is "decrease". The boat is still sinking.

Its a 6.1% drop from the 4th quater of last year.

So im saying obama made the economy worse then it was last quater by 6.1 %

And you are again reinforcing that maybe you have comprehension problems - a 6.1 decrease is still better than it was during the last months of the Bushco regime when it decreased 6.3%. It's not much of an upturn in growth, but it is some.
