Anyone know who this company is?

See below...

Came across this on "www.mergernetwork.com", searched on words "coal stoker company for sale" in Google and it was the first item. I happen to find in by chance in late March looking for stokers for sale. It is still listed as of today the same as when I saw in in late March.

Anyone know who this company is?

here it is:

So, any guesses as to which company is for sale? Now would be the time to sell, as the last couple of years would have been
big, so value is never going to look better.

On paper it looks like a losing proposition. Last year was probably the best year ever for coal stokers and they posted only a 10% profit margin before taxes, interest, and depreciation. According to the information given they spent $160,000 a month before any profit was made.

I'll bet Dave has an inside track on this topic. He can put his nose to the asphalt, and find out the truth behind the rumors. This company has an opportunity to make a quantum leap due to the timing of the purchase. If Dave could lend his expertise to this 'unnamed operation', perhaps the type of product could be expanded to include hydronic units as well. It is refreshing to see new blood in an established venture! Best wishes for a great season and many new products sorely needed in our area of the country.
Home heating oil was 2.49 today, up from 2.15 two weeks ago. WTF said the blind man!!!!!
Fire wood here is at 205/cord, pellets 290/ton, propane 2.69/gal, bagged coal 320/ton. Wonder why we buy bulk or in a Co-op? :woot: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :fear: :fear: :flush: :bang: :bang:

Get the engineering hat on and get us a new hydronic unit. Best wishes to the unnamed individuals of the unnamed company. :D :D :D :D

Electronic controls with manual overrides in case of power issues. Bulletproof motors for the grates and fans. Do it once, do it right, and don't cross the southern border to buy a damned thing.

??? I do not get the big mystery. As far as value, this season will not be a barn burner for any anthracite appliance company.
The tax credits are steering people towards wood and pellet equipment. Not particularly fair, but for this year, that is the deal.
It was interesting to see EFM getting their equipment to burn the pellets. I am curious if it helped. Could not hurt! Unless of
course, you actually wanted to burn pellets in them!

Maybe they want to what until the ink drys on the paper work first before they anonce who the new owner's are of the
Popular Stove Co. and as far as wood pellets anyone who wants to spend that much money on a fuel that is half the BTU's
of Anthracite coal and burns dirtier well leave them have at it
