How Big is Your Stock Pile

How Big is Your Stock Pile

PostBy: traderfjp On: Sun May 03, 2009 8:09 pm

I used about 2.25 ton of coal this year and it was a pretty cold and long winter. I had 3 ton and bought another 23 ton. I estimate that my stock pile as of last year is about 10.5 years.

I've got 2500lbs left from the 4 ton that i bought last fall. I'm looking to buy next years rice soon. I would like to go in on a full load of bagged rice if someone in nw ct or nearby is interested in doing the same. I was quite interested when i read that Penn Keystone was delivering coal from the Williamstown #1 deep mine but then i saw it posted today that that mine is currently shut down. Anyway if someone in this area is interested in getting something together send me a PM.

I started the season with 12 tons. I burned somewhere between 3-4 tons. I am building a new coal bin down in the basement. When all is said and done I should have about 15 tons on the property, enough for about 3-4 years! :-)

Down to my last ton. More than enough to get to next fall :) It is time to start collecting again. :) Scott
I think a man does what he can, untill his destiny is revealed. Right now that is hauling 10 tons of coal at a time into the Great Northeast. Also trying to sell my EMf plate boilers in 350,520, and 700 sizes. And a harman vf3000, all priced right
