A possum is a great tool to get back at your enemies in town.
What you do is continually poke it with a stick until it's flaming pissed, then go to the jerks house & remove a basement window. Voila! New home for possum!

Man, you guys are really into 'The Hillbilly Diet'. I wondered how long it would take 'Jenny C' to go National with one of the best kept secrets from our friends from the Hollows and foggy hills of Appalachia. Kirsti A sure needs to get back on the 'slim wagon' 83 lbs in the plus column is a real kicker!...lotta fresh porcupine and possum road kill available. My friends describe the roadside deaths as PPD (poor possum decisions). At least you don't total your car or truck when you 'whack' one. Now deer and moose...that's an expensive and potentially dangerous encounter.
You should start posting 'Mother's Day Feast' recipes today, so that the appropriate creatures can be retrieved promptly.
Stoker Scott will be out in the Anthra-Dirigible this PM as a spotter on I-78, I-80, and I-81. He must have some new 'heavy lift' attachment to try out at UAE......... 20 tons of black gold in a sling...man he has a 'pair'!
I also hear that he will have the anthra-ciggy boat on the Hudson if anyone is looking for a 'floater'.

I`ve eaten jungle rat, knew what I was eating at the time & it was good, a lot is in the way its cooked. And of coarse not having anything else to eat & being extremely hungry helps an aweful lot too.

Were you in New Orleans at the time? I remember something like that on the menu when I was there. The thirst must have overtaken my senses.....dammit! Kinda like a dawg lickin' it's butt, must be trying to get rid of the taste of his owners 'gourmet meal' leftovers. Not much different then getting the 'NEPA grits' as a side dish when breakfast shows up in Pottstown.

I actually prefer mine with syrup or chust plain.
Now if you really want something good, try souse, tripe, pig's feet jelly or my favorite pot pudding. Yum, yum.

I sure as hell am NOT letting you characters choose the menu for the "meat and greet!" I lived in Germany as a guest of the US Govt for a couple years and I ate things that only too much beer would allow a normal man to eat.....and I WAS hungry too! Certain parts of animals should just be discarded, and unfortunately you were off getting laid when that class was being held! Congrats on the 'fun part', but you must get some help on the 'dietary part you missed!'

I feel sorry for you never having had the experience of butchering your own beef, pigs, or chickens.
The best part of making scrapple is sitting around the pot all day drinking beer and occasionally stirring the scrapple pot until it is ready to put in the tins.
You got to understand the PA Dutch mentality......nothing goes to waste. And if combined and prepared properly, it quite tasty. I'll save some souse just for you at a "meat and greet." Don't look at it...just open up your mouth and eat. I promise not to include any possum !!!!!

I come from PA Dutch too. When my Aunt visits us from PA, she always brings fresh scrapple, and whatever else the butcher has. I have had everything in the pot. I'll listen to anything once, and perhaps you are ready for the 'next big thing', but I'm still skeptical of a stew with beaks, bungholes, testicles, pigs feet....and varies roadkill by-products. I'll have to watch the Beverly Hillbillies reruns for a couple weeks before the meet and greet.

Ruger is only ten miles from me, so we kinda like their guns.....and support the local economy. 2000 a day out the door.....not everyone will be unprepared when the next
'event' occurs.
