Do you mind me asking who delivered for you at that price? I don't live very far from Hazleton and most places I checked with are charging around $185/ton delivered. We're not too lazy to shovel it off our truck, just getting too old (well maybe a little lazy too).

Thanks!

I just checked with my supplier up here in the Finger Lakes of New York and they upped their price by $6/ton to $240/ton plus delivery which is $30/4 ton load. So actual is $247.50/ton Delivered. I'm kind of surprised that coal didn't go down a little because the cost of fuel to deliver coal went down and the cost of Natural Gas, Propane, and Fuel Oil all went down. Maybe next year... or not.

The best price I could find near my house in the Finger Lakes area, was $285 per ton bagged, (50 lb.bag)and delivered. Purchased two tons ,delivered the next day by a nice young guy who worked up a pretty good sweat. Since he was polite and stacked the bags with care,i tipped him twenty bucks.
When I was searching for coal prices, the dealer I went through never even came up on any coal dealer listing on the computer, and they are only 8 miles away from my home...cool..
Been heating for a little over a week now and am loving the heat !
Finger Lakes Stoker;where is your dealer that you go through ? mine is in Shortsville. Can't remember their name right now as I have called them only once, and they don't have a name on the bags.

Southern Maine:

Picked up 3 skids of 1.2 tons each of nut/stove coal in Wells, ME for $295/ton or $354/skid.
The dealer also delivers for $25 + $1/mile per load.
