As mentioned most are going to expect for you to be ready for the delivery and have a method to off load it, if it's a dump they are going to expect to be able to dump it and leave. If you have any special requests or their might be an issue with the delivery such as tight driveway or other problems make them aware of it.
Some may have the ability to offload it for you and others may be willing to make exceptions to the time. Just make sure they understand the situation before they get there. They have schedules to meet and a truck sitting idle isn't making any money.
