Can anyone that has a Harman Magnum take a look and see if their feed motor is wired into the capacitor just like it is shown in the manual on page 19.
**Broken Link(s) Removed**The capacitor has 2 sets of 4 terminals and mine is not wired as it is shown in the manual. I recently replaced the feed motor and thought I wired it back the way it was, but I just looked at the wiring daigram and saw that it was different.
Can anyone explain what all the terminals are?
The reason I am concerned is that I have had the new motor not start twice now, when the control box light for the motor came on.
Thanks for any help!!!!

Hello Mossy
If I remember correctly, this is how my stoker motor was wired. If you reverse the black and red leads on the motor to the capacitor, then the motor will turn in the opposite direction. It will still stoke coal, but the motor will turn in the opposite direction.
Perhaps your capacitor is failing, its not common, but it does happen. How hot does the motor run when its stoking?

The motor was running very hot in 15 mins. It has stopped working all together. If I try to run the feed motor it just hums. Sounds like the capacitor at this point. Anyone know how to test the capacitor?
The dealer gave me this motor to replace the motor I had because it was leaking oil. Must be by chance now that the capacitor is going or gone.
Thanks for the reply.
