Logging into the Knowledge Base

PostBy: Richard S. On: Mon May 11, 2009 9:17 pm

The Knowledge Base uses the same username and password as the forum however it's not a single login for both. e.g. you can be logged into the forum and not logged into the Knowledge Base.

Click the login link in the upper left, type your username and password that you use for the forum and click submit.

Richard, "Logging in" the KB is not working for me. I am getting an error about invalid userid. Maybe I need glasses, but I think I typed it correctly. I don't believe I need to create the userid again, do I?

That's because of the _ in your name. You can't use it. :P That is one of the issues with trying to run the same databse. Wiki has alot of characters it doesn't allow in names.

Try it now, it should be fixed.

Try it now and see what happens If it fails again the simple fix is I can change your name to "DVC500 at last" without the underscores, not sure what else to do at this point.

It was the underscores in the name, if anyone else has any funky characters in your username and have any trouble let me know.

I can't log in either. Can you remove the underscore in my username Richard? Thanks.

Should be fixed, if it still doesn't work refresh the page or hit ctrl-f5.
