Amish teen ticketed for having beer in buggy

Wow! The kids, these days! Where are the parents! :D :D :D
Seriously, this proves that all kids really are the same. Kids will be kids...

LEON, N.Y. – Police cracking down on rowdy Amish youths ticketed a teenager for having beer in his horse-drawn buggy when they pulled him over on a western New York road. They said the 17-year-old was charged with underage possession of alcohol after he was stopped by deputies late Monday night in the town of Leon, 40 miles south of Buffalo

DUI is possible I'd imagine, I was threatened by cop to arrest me for BUI once. (biking under the influence). Me and my brother were drinking at the house here and were running out of beer so we jumped on the bikes and took the two block journey to the bar to get some six packs. Actualy quicker than going in a car. :P The cop saw us on the way home and I can't blame him for this he turned around and came after us. This is small town and I used to know all the cops by first name but times have changed... In any event he didn't know me or my brother and I have lived here for 35 years almost.

He asked for ID and it was funny because we're right in front of the house. What I do blame him for is getting the prick attitude afterward once he found out nothing doing here. He threatened me with a BUI.... LOL. I would have failed a sobriety test miserably.

Sounds like most of our finest. Little man with big attitude and need to feel important syndrome.

That's a funny story though. :D

I had no idea that the Amish community supported this type of "experimentation". :-(
