15 tons lump coal

I was surprised to find a positive coal article coming from the UK.

Lots of potential heat there, could be as much as 400,000,000 Btu! Would not have wanted to carry it all in there though Gotta be hard on the floor too.

15 tons of coal for 750.00 pounds. That is $1132.50 Let's see, that's about 8-10 trips with my pickup. 7000 mi. round trip, I still need a bridge to cross the Atlantic ocean. Oh well it's the thought that counts.

I wonder what they are going to do with it when the exhibit is over.

US tons or Metric Tonnes?? If Metric, an even better buy....

One metric ton is 2,204.6 lbs. But the shipping costs are a killer.

Yep, USPS will ship it, but you have to wrap up each piece seperately

Ya know what, If I lived close I would carry all that coal out of there if I could get it for free. Given a few days, my kids and I could get it all out of there.
I know, I'm crazy.

If only I could have some of that, I'm jealous you guys have all the coal you want and any kind you want. I may have to come visit with a big truck..

I don't think my back would hold out for 15 tons! I just got a couple of tons of lump last weekend (which I get for free). It's interesting looking coal - kinda roundish. Why is that?
