15 tons lump coal

15 tons lump coal

I was surprised to find a positive coal article coming from the UK.

Lots of potential heat there, could be as much as 400,000,000 Btu! Would not have wanted to carry it all in there though :shock:Gotta be hard on the floor too.
Wish I had it all at my place ;)

15 tons of coal for 750.00 pounds. That is $1132.50 Let's see, that's about 8-10 trips with my pickup. 7000 mi. round trip, I still need a bridge to cross the Atlantic ocean. Oh well it's the thought that counts.

One metric ton is 2,204.6 lbs. But the shipping costs are a killer.

Yep, USPS will ship it, but you have to wrap up each piece seperately :D

Ya know what, If I lived close I would carry all that coal out of there if I could get it for free. Given a few days, my kids and I could get it all out of there.
I know, I'm crazy.

No matter what they do, there will always be coal in that room.

I don't think my back would hold out for 15 tons! I just got a couple of tons of lump last weekend (which I get for free). It's interesting looking coal - kinda roundish. Why is that?
