Awesome deal. I have been trying to move to Tenn. for 3 years but things I need to sell have not sold so here I am still in ME. Oh well, I have 11 ton of rice and a new boiler so I'll wait out another winter.

Check this out, just went on the market here about 15 miles away from me. It only has 7 bedrooms it says and only a couple of acres.

Wow, great price, but "across the street from Lakeland Medical Center." means sirens day and night

The Lakeland Medical Center is more or less just doctors offices, no ambulances.

That sure is a bargin!
Now I wonder how many other bargins are there going to be with Michigan's economy devistated worse than most other states from the "recession".....

I know I'm going to be writing some things here that your not going to believe but just stay with me.
When I moved out here to Michigan yes I knew that things were bad as far as the economy goes. If that wasn't bad enough Elkhart Indiana with the highest unemployment in the country is just south of me. The thing is people here know it's bad, not like the rest of the country thats waiting for the other shoe to fall because here it's already fallen.
I was out shopping for groceries one day and overheard a lady say that today was the day for a new shipment of new clothes to come into the Goodwill stores. Well never heard of Goodwill getting new clothes so I asked her what she was talking about. she told me that Goodwill was getting brand new clothes from big retailers, still with tags on, and putting them out for 5 bucks for pants and 5 bucks for shirts 7 bucks for coats. so on and so forth. Yep had to take a look. Well I figure I have a 2 grand new wardrobe for about 50 bucks. All with new tags and all name brand. After much searching on the net and many questions it seems as though stores can get a tax write off when they drop a load of clothes off. Makes there books look real good.
Things are a lot worse than you could imagine in the real world. If things that should be known were known the stock market would crash, China would be at war with us for all the money we owe them., and the rich, well there wouldn't be any rich.

Well lets see, yesterday they said GDP was up, hey thats good right? Today they say consumer spending is down, bad right? I thought that GDP and consumer spending ran along the same tracks. How can Americans spend less but GDP be up? Told ya it's a real mess. Somebody better start telling the truth about this country or another country soon will.

Don`t worry be happy the economy is fundamentally strong. We`ve been told that for years, why doesn`t it work now?

I'm beginning to believe that we are about the stupidest people on the planet, we believed them. The rest of the world doesn't believe a thing we say, and they shouldn't.
Cost cutting to make numbers work, when numbers don't work no way no how. putting numbers out that even Madoff would be ashamed of. Nothing but scam after scam after scam. Why or how could they put Madoff and that other guy in jail if all the Government and banks are doing the same thing.

nice! I did the same thing a few years ago when we moved to western NY. For less than the price of a ghetto one bedroom condo I have 10 acres and 3000sq. ft house with barns...

From one A-frame house owner to another I must say congrats! What a beautiful A-frame and the yard is awesome.

This thread is really making me want to pack up and move out of New Jersey. 75k for that home is almost unbelievable!
