Lignite mining

Lignite mining

I caught a show "How do they Do That?" on the Science channel on how they mine Lignite in Germany. Using the largest diggers in the world, they send the lignite directly to the power station that was built by the mine.
The lignite appears brownish? Powdery? Nothing at all like Anthracite. The tv show says it is not nearly as old as Anthracite.
Very interesting show.

It is like a newborn compared to anthracite.

Nothing is impossible for people who don't have to do it themselves.
