First off, Good Morning Eveyone! Also I like the new classifieds section, Thank You Richard, very good Job!! I am having trouble with my sand filter ( Haward ) It keeps putting water into the backwash pipe when I have it set to filter, not much but almost like it is leaking through some were, any idea's? Also has any tried that zeobest? Is it any better than the sand or just a waste of money? I need to get this pool cleared up asap before summer is gone!! Any info will be helpful, I have tried all I know!

The valve is probably in need of new O rings.

Yes, I use zeobest and I like it. Its more expensive than sand, of course, but well worth it. Easily rechargeable.

Sounds like your master control valve O-ring is leaking. Or worse, there was water in your valve over the winter, and it froze and cracked your valve. Dissassemble it to find out. If you just need to replace the O-ring, don't forget to get some of the O-Ring silicon gel to put on it. Your local pool-supply store should have it in stock, or you can find many online stores that sell it.
